The first pillar is the ISO 9001:2015 standard, specifying the requirements for quality management. The second pillar is the ISO 17100:2015 standard, which clearly defines the translation process from vendor selection and assessment through the intermediary stages of the processes, to signing an agreement between the client and the provider of translation services.
